PROJECT SUMMARY

The project of strategic partnership involves three secondary schools coming from Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic. In our project we focus on human rights issues and European values. We want to raise awareness of human rights and European values, develop key competences of the participants, learn and practise some methods how to promote active participation, raise awareness about problems we are facing and learn to stand for our and other people´s rights 

By implementation of this project we want to achieve the following objectives and results: 

1. Development of competences of the participants of the project (above all communication, language, civic, social, and digital) 

2. Extending (or gaining) the knowledge about various historical events regarding human rights, increased awareness of the EU issues and European values 

3. Increased cultural awareness and creative skills of the participants, increased active citizenship of the participants of the project 

4. Development of international cooperation in the partner schools and fostering the cooperation of the schools with municipalities, libraries, NGOs, etc. 

5. Extending the knowledge of the partner countries in the field of history, traditions, customs, ways of life, geography, human rights issues 

6. Development of friendship among students and teachers from partner schools 

7. Development of creativity through working out printed outputs as well as online outputs 

8. Exchange of good practices and methods of work with young people regarding human rights issues. 

The project expects involvement of the following groups: - students: the age group of the participating students is 14-19 (secondary schools students). They will participate both in local activities and LTT activities (short exchanges of the groups of pupils) as well as in dissemination and evaluation activities. We expect involvement at least 20-30 students from each school in local activities or eTwinning cooperation, other students will participate in surveys, preparation of presentations, practical using the methods such as Photovoice or Living library and in other games and school activities focused on human rights issues. As for the LTT activities, 10 students from each partner school (5+5) will participate in mobilities.
